Creating an account

Q: How do I get access to Nincha Beta?

A: To get access to the Nincha Beta, you need to be a premium user of Ninchanese.

Make sure you use the email address associated with your premium Ninchanese account when creating your Nincha account.

If you’re not a premium user yet, upgrade your Ninchanese account first, then come join the fun on Nincha!

You can upgrade by logging into your Ninchanese account, navigating to the subscription page, and selecting a premium plan.

Q: Can I use my Ninchanese login credentials on Nincha?

A: Meow-sorry, but you can’t use your Ninchanese login credentials directly on Nincha. You’ll need to create a new account on Nincha.co using the same email address you use for your Ninchanese premium account. This will help import your progress and get you started right away.

Q: What should I do if I forgot my Ninchanese email?

A: No worries! If you’ve forgotten which email you used for your Ninchanese account, just log in to Ninchanese and check your account settings. You’ll find your email there. If you’re still having trouble, give us a shout at [email protected], and we’ll help you sniff it out.

Learn in different Language

Q: How can I learn Chinese in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, or Japanese?

A: There are two scenarios when you create your Nincha account:

  1. Not importing progress from Ninchanese
  2. Importing progress from Ninchanese

Let’s see how it works in each case.

1 . When you’re not importing your progress from Ninchanese:

    • You’ll start your learning journey from the beginning.
    • During the account creation process, you’ll be asked to select the language in which you want to learn Chinese. You can choose from English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, or Japanese.
    • On the next screen, you’ll choose whether you want to learn Simplified or Traditional Chinese.
    • And you’re all set to start learning!

    2 . When you’re importing your progress from Ninchanese:

    • You’ll continue learning Chinese (Simplified and/or Traditional) in English from where you left off in Ninchanese.
    • To change the language, go to your language settings and select “Learn another language.”
    • You’ll be asked to choose the language you speak in, and then you can select whether you want to learn Simplified or Traditional Chinese.
    Q: What happens if I decide to learn Chinese in another language?

    A: If you decide to learn Chinese in another language, your progress will reset to zero for that language. However, you’ll have the flexibility to start any course you want. This means you can pick up from any level or topic that interests you, even if your overall progress starts fresh.

    Q: Are Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese treated as different courses?

    A: Absolutely! Learning Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese are treated as two separate courses. Your progress in one will not affect the other. You can choose to focus on one or switch between them as you like, but remember that progress in each course is tracked independently.

    Q: Can I switch languages during my learning if I’ve already progressed in another language?

    A: Yes, you can switch languages at any time on the language page. For example, if you start learning Simplified Chinese in English and Traditional Chinese in German, your progressions in both languages are independent. You can go to the language page, choose your language course, and continue where you left off.

    A: If you need to reset your password, simply go to the reset page on Nincha.co, enter your email address, and follow the instructions sent to your email. Check your spam folder if you don’t see the email within a few minutes.

    Q: What should I do if I can’t log in?

    A: If you’re having trouble logging in, you can try resetting your password by clicking on the “Forgot Password” link on the login page.

    A: Importing your progress is a breeze! Once you’ve created your Nincha account with the same email as your Ninchanese premium account, you’ll be asked if you want to import your progress.

    You can also import your progress later in Nincha settings.

    Beware importing your progress erase your current progression on Nincha on the Chinese/English learning course.

    A: If your progress isn’t importing, first ensure you are using the correct email associated with your premium Ninchanese account.
